Practices are divided into our 12u (ages 10-12) and 9u groups (ages 7-9).
Advanced players will learn advanced techniques in preparation to compete against other SoCal girls teams in weekend tournaments.
Since tournament entry is optional, the Sand Cats clinics are also an excellent place for 9u beginners to learn until they are ready for gameplay!
Please view our registration page to see if registration is open to your age group, and if not feel free to use the contact page to inquire about potential openings.

Weekend tournaments are hosted by organizations throughout Southern California on an ongoing basis, but in 2026 the Sand Cats will plan to participate in 1 per month, mostly in Pasadena, and mostly single day events playing 1-2 games. In 2027 (or sooner if the demand is there), participation will likely increase to twice per month and expand to areas in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

There are several advantages to choosing a club team program for your daughter’s skill development.
Players stay together as a team over time, which allows for stronger relationships, better chemistry, and a deeper sense of accountability. This continuity helps build confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships.
Players are developed at their own pace and are not pushed into game situations before they’re ready, helping build confidence and long-term growth.
We also place importance on mindset and effort. Playing time is earned through attitude, growth, and commitment, helping players take ownership of their progress.
Being part of the Sand Cats, players develop pride in representing their community and contributing to a culture they help build together.
